மதுரை: செங்கல்பட்டு – பரனூர் டோல் கேட்டில் ஓராண்டில் ஒரு கோடியே 12 லட்சம் வாகனங்கள் சென்றுள்ளது. இதில் 62 லட்சம் வாகனங்கள் டோல்கேட் கட்டணம் செலுத்தாத விஐபி வாகனங்கள் என்று கணக்கு எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளது. நவீன ஊழலின் அடையாளமான பரனூர் டோல்கேட்டை இனி “பாஜக மாடல் டோல்கேட்” என்றே அழைக்கலாம் என்று மதுரை எம்.பி. சு. வெங்கடேசன் கூறியுள்ளார்.
