சேலம்: மேட்டூர் அணையில் இருந்து வெளியேற்றப்படும் நீர் வினாடிக்கு 4,600 கன அடியில் இருந்து 1,000 கனஅடியாக குறைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேட்டூர் அணையில் இருந்து விவசாயம் மற்றும் குடிநீர் தேவைக்காக 4,600 கனஅடி நீர் வெளியேற்றப்பட்டு வந்தது. இன்று மாலை 6 மணி அளவில் இருந்து குடிநீர் தேவைக்காக மட்டும் 1,000 கனஅடி நீர் வெளியேற்றப்படும் என அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.
