தூத்துக்குடி: சுப்ரமணிய சாமி கோயிலில் சூரசம்ஹாரம் விழா கலைக்கட்டியது. சூரபத்மனை முருகப் பெருமான் வதம் செய்தார். திருச்செந்தூரில் அலைகடலென பக்தர்கள் திரண்டுள்ளனர். சூரசம்ஹாரத்தை லட்சக்கணக்கானோர் கண்டு தரிசனம் செய்து வருகின்றனர். சக்தி தந்த வேலால் ஆணவம் கொண்ட சூரனை அழித்து முருகன் நல்லோரைக் காத்தார். வேல் வேல் வெற்றி வேல், கந்தனுக்கு அரோகரா என பக்தர்கள் கூட்டம் முழக்கம் எழுப்பி வருகின்றனர்.
