Vermicelli Pudding
SEMIYA PAYASAM
| 200gms vermicelli |
2 cardamoms |
| 1 litre milk |
1 tbsp raisins |
| 100 gms sugar |
1 tbsp cashewnuts |
| 1/2 cup ghee |

* Fry the vermicelli in 4 tbsps ghee.
* Add 11/2cups water and cook till soft.
*Add the milk and cook till the milk is slightly
thickened and the vermicelli is soft.
* Add sugar and cook till payasam is thick.
* Add cardamom powder, fried cashewnuts and raisins.
* Serve hot or cold.
