Vermicelli Pudding
SEMIYA PAYASAM
200gms vermicelli  2 cardamoms
1 litre milk 1 tbsp raisins
100 gms sugar  1 tbsp cashewnuts 
1/2 cup ghee 
* Fry the vermicelli in 4 tbsps ghee.
* Add 11/2cups water and cook till soft.
*Add the milk and cook till  the milk is slightly thickened and the vermicelli is soft.
* Add sugar and cook till payasam is thick.
* Add cardamom powder, fried cashewnuts and raisins.
* Serve hot or cold.
