Pulse Pudding
PAITHAM PARAPPU PAYASAM
1/2 cup moong dal 2 tsps ghee 
1/2 cup chana dal 2 cardamoms 
1 cup jaggery 1 tbsp raisins
1 cup milk 1 tbsp cashewnuts
* Dry roast the dals in 2 teaspoons ghee.
* When browned, add 2 cups water and cook till soft.
* Add milk and cook further.
* Add crushed jaggery and cook till well blended.
* Add crushed cardamoms and fried nuts.Serve hot.
