Pulse Pudding
PAITHAM PARAPPU PAYASAM
| 1/2 cup moong dal |
2 tsps ghee |
| 1/2 cup chana dal |
2 cardamoms |
| 1 cup jaggery |
1 tbsp raisins |
| 1 cup milk |
1 tbsp cashewnuts |
* Dry roast the dals in 2 teaspoons ghee.
* When browned, add 2 cups water and cook till soft.
* Add milk and cook further.
* Add crushed jaggery and cook till well blended.
* Add crushed cardamoms and fried nuts.Serve hot.
