Green tomatoes Curry
PACHHA THAKALI CURRY
 
400 gms green tomatoes  
a pinch of asafoetida  
1/2 coconut, scraped finely  
a few curry leaves  
5 onions  
oil as needed  
6 greed chillies  
salt to taste 
 
  • Clean and cut the tomatoes into pieces,
  • Chop green chillies and onions .
  • Heat 4 tbsps oil. Add green chillies onions .Fry for while .
  • Add the tomatoes pieces ,asafoetida curry leaves and salt.
  • Cook on a low fire . Sprinkle water if need be
  • Add the coconut scrapings and cook till well blended.
  • Add the tsps fresh coconut oil before removing from the fire and serve hot .
