Gram Flour Savoury
OMAPPODI
 2 cups gram flour (besan) 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp rice four  oil as needed 
1 tbsp omum seeds a  
pinch of asafoetida 
salt to taste 
 * Sieve and mix gram and rice flours.
 * Grind omum seeds and asafoetida.
 * Add to the flour with turmeric and salt.
 * Make into a soft dough with water.
 * Pass through a sieve mould and deep fry in hot oil.Drain and store in an    airtight tin.
