Vegetable Fritters
MIXED VEGETABLE BHAJJI
1cup gram flour(besan) 4 green chillies 
1 tbsp rice flour  1 potato, 1 brinjal 
1 tsp chili powder  a pinch of asafoetida 
1/2tsp turmeric powder oil as needed 
1 onion, a pinch of soda bicarb salt to taste 
* Seive and mix gram flour and rice flour.
* Add chilli powder,turmeric powder, asafoetida, soda bicarb and salt to the flour and mix with water to a thick batter.
* Pour 2 tablespoons hot oil into the batter.
* Peel the onion and potato and slicce them thinly.
* Dip each slicce in the batter and deep fry till golden growen.Drain well.
* Serve with green coriander chutney or sauce .
*The green chillies can be slit before dipping into the batter or left whole.
