Coriander Chutney
KOTHIMIRA PACHADI
2 cups coriander leaves
a pinch of asafoetida
6 red chillies
a small ball oftamarind'
1 tbsp urad dal
oil as needed
1 tsp mustard seeds
salt to taste
1.Clean and chop the leaves
2.Heat 1 tbsp oil and fry red chillies. urad dal and asafoetida.
3.When brown,remove from the fire.
4.Fry the mustard seeds and keep aside.
5.Now pound coriander leaves, chillies,urad dal , asafoetida.tamarind and salt.
6.To the paste , add the fried mustard seeds .
7.This chutney keeps for a week.
