Lentil Cakes With Nuts

| 3 cups parboiled rice |
2green chillies |
| 1 1/4cups urad dal |
a pinch of asafoetida |
| 1 1/4cups scraped cheese |
oil as needed |
| 1 tbs fried cashewnuts |
salt to taste |
| 1 tsp mustard seeds |

* Soak the rice in boiking hot water,and urad dal in cold
water,separately,for 6hours
* Grind them separaately.Mix the two.Add salt and leave
aside for fermentation overnight.
* Next morning,mix the batter well.
* Heat 2tbsps oil and fry mustard seeds,chopped green
chillies asafoetida and cashewnuts.Remove from the fire and add the scraped
chese.
* Pour over the batter.Mix well.
* Pour into the oiled idli moulds and steam cook for
7 to10 minutes
