3 plantains
2 cloves
2 onions
2 peppercorns
6 green chillies
a few curry leaves
1 tsp mustard seeds
oil as needed
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
salt and sugar to taste
1 tbsp coconut, scraped
Peel the plantains and cut them into cubes.
Chop the onions and green chillies.
Grind coconut, green chillies, peppercorns and cloves with
a little salt.
Cook the cubed plantains in just enough water .
Heat 4 tbsps oil and fry the mustard seeds.
Add turmeric powder, chopped onions and curry leaves.
Fry well. Add the cooked plantain pieces and stir well and
remove.
