250 gms potatoes
a small ball of tamarind
4 red chillies
a small ball of jaggery
6 cloves garlic
2 tbsps coconut oil
1 tbsp grated coconut
salt to taste
Boil potatoes. Peel and cut them in to small pieces.
Grind chillies, grated coconut and tamarind.
Add the ground masala to the potato pieces.
Add water, salt and jaggery and cook .
Fry crushed garlic in 2 tbsps oil and pour over the potatoes
serve hot.
