Samolina Savoury
RAVA UPUMA
1 cup samolina  1 tsp mustard seeds
2 red chillies 2 tbsps  finely chopped carrots and peas 
1 greem chillie A pinch of asafoedida 
1 cm piece ginger A few curry leaves
1tsp uraddal  oil as needed 
1/2tsp chanadal salt to taste 
* Clean the samolina and keep aside
* Heat five tbsps oil and fry the mustard seeds broken red chillies,uraddal,chanadal and asafoetida till golden brown
* Add chopped ginger and greenchillies and the samolina
* Add the finely chopped carrots and peas and fry till brown.
* Add 2cups of boiling water  and salt
* Cook for 5 to 7 minutes till soft ,adding more water if needed .the upuma should be dry but soft
* Add curry leaves serve with chutney
