1 kg fish  
1 kg spinach  
4 onions  
1 cup corn oil  
2 tbsps ginger - garlic paste 
2 tsps coriander powder  
2 tsps cuminseeds  
1 tsp turmeric powder  
1 tsp grated cheese  
salt to taste 
 

1. Wash fish and cut into pieces.
2. Mix 1/2 cup oil with the ginger-garlic paste, salt, chilli powder, turmeric and coriander powders and rub it on the fish pieces.
3. Heat the remaining oil fry the sliced onions till pink.
4. Then add the fish and chopped spinach.  Stir gently add and 1/2 cup hot water.
5. Cover with a lid after adding salt and chilli powder, and cook on low heat till done.  Garnish with grated cheese before serving.
