Meat in Chutney Curry
1 kg meat, cut into pieces
4 onions
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup tamarind pulp
2 tbsps ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp turmeric powder
10-11 green chillies
1 bunch mint leaves
1 bunch coriander leaves
salt and chilli powder to taste
1. Rub the meat with the garlic-ginger paste,turmeric,chilli powder and salt and keep aside for 2 hours .
2. Grind together the green chillies, mint and coriander leaves.add the tamarind water to it.
3. Now heat oil and fry the sliced onions till pink (keep some aside for garnish).
4. Add meat and fry 5-7 minutes. then add 1 cup of water and cover with a lid .
5. Cook over a low fire till meat it tender. serve hot with Parathas.
