1 1/2 Kgs chicken, cut into big
cubes
3 onions
1/2 cup curd
1 tbsp ginger - garlic paste
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp garam masla powder
2 tsps dry coconut, grated
6-8 almond
1 tsp poppy seeds
Salt to taste
2 tbsps oil
1. Mix the curd, ginger - garlic paste, chilli powder, garam
masala powder and salt. Apply this on chicken pieces and leaved them to
marinate for 25-30 minutes.
2. Heat oil, fry the slices onions till pink.
3. Grind the coconut, almonds, popy seeds and sesame sedds
to a paste. Fry this paste in the same oil as the onion slices, and after
2-3 minutes, add the maninated chicken and the marinade.
4. Add 1/2 cup water if desired. Lower the flame, cook till
done. Garnish chopped coriander leaves.
