Meal Rice Curry
1 kg lamb,cut into pieces
1/2 kg rice, washed
4 onions
1/2 cup oil
2 tbsps ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp cuminseeds
1 tsp poppy seeds
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp grated coconut
salt and chilli powder to taste
1. Mix together the ginger - garlic paste, salt,chillipowder and turmeric and smear the meat pieces with the paste.keep aside for 2, 1/2.-3 . houres.
2. Heat a pan and dry roast the cuminseeds,poppy seeds,sesame seeds, coconut and rive, till brown. powder them.,
3. Heat oil and fry sliced onions till they turn pink.
4. Then add the rice - spice powder to the meat and fry till brown.
5. Add 2 cups of water, cover and cook till the oil separates.Serve hot, garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
