Mince Biryani
KHEEMA BIRYANI
400 gms minced meat  
500 gms rice                         
5 tbsps scraped coconut  
3 onions, sliced  
1 cup coriander leaves  
2 bay leaves  
1 stick cinnamon  
4 cloves                            
1 lemon 
oil as needed   
salt to taste  
grind :  
1/2 tsp roasted fenugreek seeds   
1 tsp turmeric powder    
1/2 tsp cumin seeds   
 2 cm piece ginger    
8 cloves garlic 
  1.Wash and soak the rice in water .
  2.Heat 3 tbsp oil .Fry 2 sliced onions, bay leaves, cloves and cinnamon. Add   drained rice and brown. Add double the quantity of hot water and cook on a low flame till almost done.
  • 3.Heat 4tbsp oil.Fry the remaining sliced onion . Add the ground masala and fry  for 3 minutes.
  • 4.Add minced meat and a little water. fry till golden brown . Add water as needed till meat is cooked.
  • 5.Add coconut and lemon juice.
  • 6.Add rice and mix well. cook till done and dry . Add salt to taste.

  •   7.Mix with coriander leaves and serve .
